Access to Work:
Your Path to Business Support
What is Access to Work?
Access to Work is a government scheme designed to support individuals with disabilities or long-term health conditions in gaining and maintaining work. This programme aims to eliminate workplace barriers by providing necessary accommodations and resources.

What Can Access to Work Fund?
Access to Work can provide funding for a variety of support services and resources, including:
For more information, visit the Access to Work website.
-
Assistance with daily tasks and responsibilities
-
Professional guidance to help manage ADHD symptoms
-
Tools and devices needed for your job
-
Access to essential software and training
-
Assistance with travel to and from work
-
Additional accommodations as required
How does Access to Work funding mean we can work together?
Once you have completed the Access to Work process, you will receive recommendations for support, which may include an allocation of 'hours' to fund a job aide, such as a Support Worker or Virtual Assistant. This funding enables us to work together effectively, providing you with the support you need to succeed in your business.
If Access to Work requests a quote for my services to ensure the hourly rate aligns with your award, I will provide a bespoke quote detailing our agreement for you to forward to them. Once your funding is confirmed and approved, we can begin our journey together.
How Does Payment Work?
Access to Work funding is reimbursed after the work is completed. Here’s how we manage the payment process:
Contract Details: Our contract will outline the payment terms based on your specific circumstances.
Weekly Claims: I submit Access to Work claims at the end of each working week.
Direct Payments: Payments should be made directly to me as your support worker to avoid delays, manage claim forms efficiently, and reduce administrative tasks for you.
